About the role
As a Virtual School Nurse with TinyEYE, you’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting the health and well-being of school-aged students through virtual services. You’ll work closely with students, families, educators, and school teams to promote student health, manage care plans, and support a safe learning environment.
Please note, while we don’t currently have school nurse openings in this region, we anticipate new opportunities will become available here in the coming weeks.
What you'll do
- Provide virtual nursing support and health consultations to students.
- Assess student health needs and develop individualized health care plans.
- Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings as appropriate.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and support personnel to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district health regulations.
- Support medication management, health screenings, and wellness initiatives in a virtual setting.
What we're looking for
- Required: Active California School Nurse Credential or CA RN license with eligibility for school nursing (support with credentialing available).
- Preferred: Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a virtual environment.
