Steps to Obtain Texas License
Here's a simple step-by-step guide to help you navigate the licensure process:
- Earn Your Master's Degree: Start by earning your Master's degree from an accredited CAA program.
- Complete Coursework and Clinical Experience: Ensure that the Intern in Speech-Language Pathology Course Work and Clinical Experience Form is completed by your CAA-accredited Program Director.
- Clinical Fellowship: Complete your clinical fellowship and submit the required forms.
- Exams: Complete and pass both the Praxis Exam and the Jurisprudence Exam.
- Submit Application: Submit your application, including official transcripts and fees.
- Criminal History Review: After submission, instructions will be sent to complete a criminal history review and fingerprints.
