A recent systematic review titled Outcomes of cochlear implantation in Usher syndrome: a systematic review provides valuable insights that can enhance our practice, particularly for children with Usher syndrome.

Key Findings from the Systematic Review

The review analyzed 33 studies involving 217 cochlear implants in 187 patients with Usher syndrome. The findings revealed significant improvements in auditory outcomes, including:
