Application Process
The first step in your journey is to complete and submit your application. The Wyoming Board requires a complete, original signed application. Remember, faxed, emailed, or incomplete applications will not be accepted. So, double-check everything before you send it off!Fees
The application fee is $300.00 per license type. This fee is non-refundable and should be made payable to the State of Wyoming. You can use a personal/business check, cashier's check, or money order. Ensure this payment is mailed along with your application.Federal Requirements
To establish lawful presence, you need to provide documentation as proof. The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) has a list of acceptable documents. Complete the form included in your application packet and attach a copy of a document from LIST A or a document from LIST B and C.Competency
Proving your competency is crucial. You can do this through:- ASHA or ABA Certification: Contact ASHA or ABA and request that your certification be sent directly to the Board office. The Board will not accept this verification from you.
- Clinical Proficiency: Have your supervisor complete the supervision clinical year fellowship rating form and mail it to the Board office. Again, this must be sent directly by your supervisor.
PRAXIS Scores
Contact PRAXIS and request that your scores be sent directly to the Wyoming Board office. The Board will not accept these scores from you.State Verifications
If you currently hold or have held a license in any state in the last fifteen years, you need to get state verifications. These must come directly from the states to the Board office. Some states may require a fee for this service, so be prepared. Background Checks
Finally, you need to provide a set of completed fingerprint cards for a criminal history record background check. Allow at least 2-3 weeks for the background check report to be processed and returned to the office. For more information, please follow this link.
