The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerabilities faced by marginalized communities, including transgender women and hijra individuals. A recent study titled Impact of COVID-19 on Transgender Women and Hijra: Insights from Gujarat, India provides critical insights into the challenges faced by these communities during the pandemic.
