National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

TinyEYE’s journey is deeply rooted in our partnerships with schools and students across the world, in particular the bonds and experiences we’ve had partnering with First Nations schools and communities.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation!

Today is a day for reflection, education and action to ensure equity and justice for Indigenous people. TinyEYE’s journey is deeply rooted in our partnerships with schools and students across the world, in particular the bonds and experiences we’ve had partnering with First Nations schools and communities. Today, we honor the relationships we’ve built and recognize the injustices that history has brought. We pledge to continue making a difference, shining light on the truth both past and present and creating a better future for today’s children.

Join us in recognizing this day by wearing an orange shirt to remember and honor victims and survivors of residential schools, demonstrate a willingness to learn about Indigenous history & culture and show a commitment to being a part of the reconciliation process.

Please watch this short video of our founder Marnee Brick recognizing this important day.
