Council also approved the adoption of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) Preferred Practice Guideline (PPG) entitled, “Use of Telepratice in the Provision of Clinical Services by Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists”. This guideline has been approved with acknowledgement of ACSLPA and will be applicable until such time as national guidelines may be developed and harmonized for use across Canadian regulatory jurisdictions.
