The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) reported on the growing demand for speech therapy in Calgary, AB last February.
I found a video that points out the shortage of speech therapists in the U.S. It’s a little old but as of 2002 there were 94,000 SLPs, but they anticipate a need for 120,000! That could be even greater today!
